Deborah Sue Ferguson March 18, 1960 – July 6, 2026 Deborah Sue Ferguson, 66, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026. Born on March 18, 1960, Deborah's life was marked by many challenges and hardships. She lived a quiet and private life, often preferring solitude. Though her journey was not always easy, those who knew her understood that she carried burdens throughout her life that shaped the path she walked. As we reflect on her life, we are reminded that God's grace reaches beyond human struggles and shortcomings, offering hope, mercy, and redemption to all. Deborah was preceded in death by her mother, Nadine Graham. She is survived by her daughter, Francine J. Rosario, and grandsons, Nathaniel Rosario and Elijah Rosario; her son, Robert J. Cefarelli Sr., his wife, Crystal Cefarelli, and their children, Robert "RJ" Cefarelli Jr. and Makayla Hamilton; her daughter, Shelly Lafferty, and her children, Ava Lafferty and Ethan Sanders; and her son, Phillip Cranor, and his children, Jaxson Cranor and Harper Cranor. She is also survived by her sisters, Melissa Sterne and Angela Trimble, as well as other relatives, friends, and acquaintances whose lives intersected with hers over the years. While Deborah's life was often difficult, her family finds comfort in believing that she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. The Christian faith teaches that none of us are defined solely by our struggles, circumstances, or mistakes, but by God's grace and His promise of forgiveness through Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that Deborah has now found peace and healing in the presence of her Lord, free from the burdens and pain of this earthly life. A Celebration of Life honoring Deborah will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the Christ Church in Neodesha, Kansas. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance, reflection, and faith as they celebrate her life and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home.
