Jeffrey Ted Livingston

Jeffrey Ted Livingston, of Neodesha, Kansas, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 at the age of 69. He was born in Neodesha on April 12, 1955 to Ted and Ethel (Howell) Livingston. On June 7, 1975, Jeff married his high school sweetheart Christine Gudde. Together they welcomed a daughter, Stephanie Lynne Livingston, in March of 1986. Jeff was also a proud PaPaw to his grandson, Corey Jeffrey Tyler. From the time he was a young boy, Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Grandpa Howell and being at the river with his brothers and friends. In high school he was an outstanding athlete and still holds the Neodesha High School shotput and discus records. After marrying Christine, they moved to Hill City, Kansas for a short time before returning to Neodesha to build a home together. Throughout his career, Jeff worked alongside his brother Andy for many years at Productization Inc. He was the owner of Livingston Auto Sales and also farmed in rural Neodesha. He had a strong work ethic, enjoyed working outdoors, and most of all, being with his family. He loved playing the guitar and singing. He was also an original member of the band, Jimmy & the Geezers. Over the last year, Jeff spent countless hours watching Corey rodeo and even brought home a colt for them to break together. More than anything, being a PaPaw to Corey was one of Jeff’s greatest joys, and the bond they shared was truly remarkable. Jeff was preceded in death by his best friend and love of his life, his wife, Christine Livingston. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marsha (Les) Redington, his brother, Andrew Livingston, and his brother-in-law, Bill Burgoon. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Livingston (Zach Long); his grandson, Corey Tyler; his siblings, Jerry (Sharen) Livingston, Danny (Marti) Livingston; his sister-in-laws Vera Livingston, Theresa (David) Allen, Marilyn (Dennis) Seller, Sue Burgoon, and his brother-in-law, Bill (Rene’) Gudde, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Jeff’s life at a graveside service Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at the Neodesha Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home.
